I am passionate about and committed to my work, and regard therapy as a healing process to help people resolve or integrate life’s challenges more effectively, in line with their own values and goals.

As a Senior Accredited Counsellor, I have extensive experience of over 20 years  working with adults of all ages with a diverse range and complexity of problems.

My office base is in a comfortable airy room at Therapy Huddersfield. I also offer online counselling and mindfulness courses.

Making a Change

Any decision to seek counselling is a courageous step towards understanding your situation, facing your problems and making changes.

It is often beneficial to speak to a caring, interested and neutral “other” – a professional, somebody not otherwise connected with your life, someone who is committed to help you find your way through.

Becoming more mindful is a way to address old patterns, and re-think our habitual ways of relating to the world and to others. It is beneficial to have somebody alongside to guide us in learning some practical ways to live more mindfully and in tune with our life’s purpose.


It is important to choose a therapist you feel comfortable with.

Mindfulness and compassion practice can provide a foundation for working through anxiety, pain, stress, low mood and chronic conditions.

I offer one-to-one and group mindfulness sessions.

Regular practice of mindfulness and meditation can enable us to:

    • become calmer
    • manage stress more effectively
    • better understand who we are and discover what is meaningful for us
    • live more fully in the moment and appreciate joy
